Postpartum Care
The number one priority of Pediatric & Perinatal Chiropractic is to support you physically and mentally so you can rest, recover, and bond with your baby, while feeling secure that you have the support your unique journey requires. Currently, the standard of care for a postpartum mother is a visit shortly after delivering your baby and a final appointment at 6 weeks. We understand that this is not enough and moms deserve more.
We perform a thorough and gentle examination in the first few days after you have your baby followed by a minimum of 12 weeks of chiropractic care, nutritional recommendations, and emotional support. Additionally, we offer individualized packages to address common postpartum conditions such as diastasis recti, scar care, hemorrhoids, core and pelvic floor dysfunction, and more!
We know that every pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum experience is different so we will meet you where you are. We look forward to being your partner on this journey!
The Foundations of Postpartum Care
Chiropractic
We encourage all women before conception, throughout pregnancy, and especially during the postpartum period to receive chiropractic care. Chiropractic adjustments restore function of the nervous system, improve posture, relieve aches and pains, and reduce muscle tension and stress. You will leave every appointment happier and more comfortable so you can enjoy your time with your baby!

Nutrition & Supplementation
Our postpartum nutritional guide will help you determine exactly what your body requires while healing your body and feeding your baby. Additionally, we offer a variety of supplements to support you on your health journey.

Core and Pelvic Floor Rehab
When your body is healed and ready, we can teach you optimal breathing, posture, deep core and pelvic floor activation, and how to properly distribute pressures in your body to achieve a stronger core and pelvic floor. When you restore strength and relieve abnormal tension in these areas it can reduce diastasis recti, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence, constipation, hemorrhoids, painful intercourse, and much more.
Scar Care
Though it does not replace healthy eating, good quality nutritional supplements are essential. The sperm and egg are equally important in the creation of a healthy baby so both parents should be sure they are getting their necessary nutrients.
